Guiding Principles for the Operation of Sydney U3A

1. Members are encouraged to contribute in any way they can to the operations of Sydney U3A.
2. Members will receive no payment (in money or other benefit) for their contribution as tutors,
   discussion group leaders, course conveners, administrators or any other role they might accept.
3. Sydney U3A will be financed by annual membership fees which will be held at a level which
   enable persons on limited incomes to be members, and to attend activities.
4. No qualifications will be needed in any area of participation, but standards will be set by mutual
   agreement between the leaders and class members in each program.
