Correction of Course List

On page 9 of the current course list, under PLAY READING, the course leader's phone no. is incorrectly shown as 9523 1356. It should read: Margaret Kingston 9523 1353. Also, Margaret Ryan has taken over from Alison Taylor as Course Secretary. Margaret can be contacted for bookings on 9528 7608.

EXPLORATIONS IN MUSIC

ANYONE FOR ETHICS?

A number of years ago, Don Crawford ran a popular course on Ethics. This group explored various concepts and grappled with moral dilemmas, which often resulted in lively, even impassioned, discussion.

Unfortunately, Don left for greener pastures and left his old students bereft of guidance on moral and ethical matters.

Is there someone who feels ready, willing and able to lead a course along these (or similar) lines, maybe in the second semester?

Ted Watson (Tel. 9527 3689) would like to hear from you.

CREATIVE WRITERS UNITE!

Use your imagination, fertilize it with your life's experience and pour it into a short story, essay, poem or a play!

This is what the Creative Writing Group has been doing for years, every second Monday from 10.00am to 12.00, at the Gymea Community Hall.

As our numbers have dwindled somewhat over the past year, we welcome new members. Don't be shy - we are not aiming to become prize-winning authors, but we are having a lot of fun with the language.

If you would like to join, please ring Eileen Bald on 9523 5433.

To read our 'Story of the Month', click here. And there is more under 'Travellers' Tales'.

If you are a course leader and want a segment on your class inserted into this webpage, please contact Liz Peters on heinzliz(at)optusnet.com.au or phone 9523 3743.
