Enquiries NOT Bookings

The courses at St Joseph's Parish Centre, 10 Albert Street Edgecliff are open to all members of Sydney U3a. There is no need to book.

At the beginning of each month a calendar for that month is placed on the notice board.

In addition, to the right of this page under COURSES: EASTERN is a page entitled: MONTHLY PROGRAM AT ST JOSEPH'S EDGECLIFF.

For some twenty years, the donation for attending a session at St Joseph's has been set at $1.00. The Committee decided that from the beginning of Semester 2 of 2009, it should be raised to $2.00. It is hoped that members will not find the rise unreasonable.

The program at St Joseph's for 2010 started on Monday, 8 February

Starting on Wednesday, 10 February, and on alternate weeks, Heather Bentley wil be giving 5 further lectures not on the Silk Road as advertised, but on Persia.

Marie Kennedy is still unwell. The lectures on Monday, 8 and 22 March are cancelled. If another lecturer can be found, members will be notified here.

Arnie Goldman gave the first session on his Shakespeare season. We are looking at two love stories. On Monday, I March we will finish the viewing of Romeo and Juliet and then discuss the play in the remaining time available.

Two weeks later we will start looking at A Midsummer's Night's Dream, i.e. Mondays,15 and 29 March.

Excursion on Friday, 19 March

Join us on a bus trip to Chullora where we visit one of the most modern printing plants in  Australia producing newspapers and magazines.

It involves about two hours of level walking.

The details are on page 4 of the current Calendar & Course List.
